Clear Channel Launches Weekly In-studio Performance Series

Yahoo: Clear Channel announced yesterday that it will roll out an In-Studio PerformanceClear_channel_2_2 Series, where artists can "Redefine, Rearrange, and Connect" with their fans. According to the report, the plan is to keep the live performances raw - not to be embellished with technological wizardry. Production begins next month and the series will be available on-demand from all Clear Channel Radio station Web sites. The radio giant said it will extensively promote the "Stripped" series both on-air and online, adding that its 1,000 radio station websites attracted a combined 7.5 million unique visitors in the month of February, according to comScore Media Metrix.
