Firefox Web Browser Under Attack
eweek: Major security flaws were recently uncovered in the popular upstart Firefox browser and its creators are quickly rushing to fill the gaps because they could be used by hackers to gain access to your computer to install programs and delete files...The vulnerabilities are called "extremely critical" and were leaked to the Web a few days ago pushing the volunteers at the Mozilla Foundation into damage-control mode...The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in Firefox 1.0.3, but the Mozilla Suite is only "partially vulnerable" to the bugs, according to the Foundation."
