Portable Demand Strong

Yahoo: Next week at the world's #2 computer show in Tapei, the list of stylish mobile products (i.e., smart phones, portable music players, digital cameras) vying for floor space against the PC is growing and some are saying the PC's domination is coming to an end... "IDC predicts that worldwide sales of traditional desktop PCs - which have grown non-stop since their introduction in the late 1970s and early '80s - will peak in major developed markets like the United States around 2009 and then start to decline...The blurring of devices, and movement to greater portability, is already creating new rivalries (and opportunities) as companies wander outside their traditional realms in search of new business..."
