Bertelsmann Starting From Scratch
EContent: German media giant Bertelsmann has announced a new P2P file download platform called GNAB (totally unrelated to Napster) set to officially launch around June. What sets GNAB apart from the rest of the P2P pack is that it combines centralized and decentralized downloads...Bertelsmann subsidiary Arvato is aiming the GNAB service at ISPs, TV stations, radio stations, order houses, and mobile operators...
The article states that GNAB has passed the beta phase and is currently going through a final round of testing with an unnamed client/user and Avarto expects an announcement from its first client within a few weeks...
