XM Satellite Partners With Audible

Yahoo:  XM Satellite Radio announced today that it plans to introduce some new devices next year that can play both satellite radio and select spoken-word programming from Audible... The exclusive, multifaceted strategic relationship will cover technology, marketing and content...The new radios will allow users to download shows from Audible's website onto the device - which is a feature many have been waiting for -  the ability to store downloaded songs, similar to MP3 players and iPods...Audible will also offer subscriptions to certain XM talk programs such as "The Bob Edwards Show. That's good news for Audible, since they were last week's biggest loser in the new Forbes Entertainment Index, with shares falling 14.1% to close the week at $14.48...Since then however, shares of Audible have risen back up to to $17.26 before the bell on the Inet electronic brokerage...
