I would give anything to be in that building in London right now, instead of sitting here at work just reading about it online... anyone else feel the same? It must be an amazing experience for everyone there & I'm sure the fans are going CRAZY!!! We can only hold out hope for a tour!!!

Ditto on the 02 envy. Since it's for charity, what a shame they didn't go for a pay-per-view -- they would have raked it in.

Just got back from the most amazing gig of my life. I was offered a ticket for Knebworth in 1979 but my mum said I was too young to go! So being there tonight was so very, very special as I never thought I'd ever get the chance to see them again. Despite the early sound niggles, they got it sorted and played a totally stunning set. The huge video backdrop was amazing and featured all sorts of shots of the band as they played, with different effects (slo mo etc) to suit the songs. Best moments? Well, it's so hard to single them out but the intros to No Quarter, Kashmir and Stairway To Heaven got the hairs up on my neck and on more than one occasion my bottom lip went (despite the huge grin on my face). The place also erupted when Jimmy got the bow out for Dazed & Confused and was surrounded by green lasers. Then after the loudest roars from the crowd came the encores - Whole Lotta Love then back on again for Rock And Roll. Absolutely unbelievable. It's so hard to put into words the joy of those two hours. To be able to say that I finally saw perhaps the greatest rock band to ever exist really is a dream come true. I'm still smiling now!
Btw, the warm-up acts - Bill Wyman's band and a few guests - were okay but only Paul Rodgers doing 'Alright Now' got much of a reaction. Foreigner's 'I Want To Know What Love Is' was their only contribution and tbh was a little flat. Keith Emerson played a couple of ELP songs with Chris Squire and Alan White(?) of Yes, which was pretty cool. Not sure if Ronnie Wood played but maybe he was on really early. Rumours are that The Stones were going to be playing at the aftershow (a smaller venue in the O2 building)...

I hope and prey that they come to the USA. I would pay $400 for nose bleed seats just to listen to them live.
