Dancing in the Internets
Between posing for creepy pictures with her father and being a tween pop sensation it seems that Miley Cyrus has been participating in You Tube dance battles. Jaded Insider wants you to take a moment to let that concept sink in. YouTube. Dance. Battle.
But not just any dance battle. It seems that the alter ego of Hannah Montana and her gal pal Mandy have been challenged by John Chu, director of seminal dance classic Step Up 2 The Streets, and its star Adam Sevani.
And just like when KRS-One responded to the perceived put downs of MC Shan’s “Queensbridge” with “South Bronx” Miley comes back strong with her own dance crew including what looks like someone’s grandmother.
But the last word, so far, goes to Chu and his crew who are dubbed, humbly, Adam Chu Dance Crew. For their last video they managed to wrangle Lindsey Lohan, Chris Brown and noted danceologist Adam Sandler. The ball is now firmly in Miley’s court. Via BuzzFeed
