Chubby In The House!

Ccbb_9 Billboard pulled the curtain back from our top 100 songs of the Hot 100 era today, and what better way to celebrate than inviting the guy with the No. 1 song up to the office? Chubby Checker didn't bust any dance moves for the staff today, but he graciously posed for pictures in celebration of "The Twist," which topped the charts in 1960 and again in 1962.

Above, here's (from left) chart manager Gary Trust, chart manager Anthony Colombo, publisher Howard Applebaum, Checker, editorial director Bill Werde, associate charts director Silvio Pietroluongo, Billboard.com editor Jessica Letkemann, senior editor Jonathan Cohen and chart manager Gordon Murray.

And don't forget to zip over to Billboard.com for more Hot 100 anniversary charts and analysis than we can summarize here.
