Another Sony Hemming And Hawing Strategy

Engadget: If you had a competition among all the digital music players on who would top in obfuscation, Moto-iTunes would rank right up there, and so would MSN Music. But the top honors, as always, would go to Sony.
A few weeks after Sony announced that its new Sony Walkman phone would work with its online music service Connect, comes the news that, hey, it actually won't, for now. The W800 will have support for both MP3 and AAC, with the idea is that you’ll load it up with music from your own collection (it’ll ship with a 512MB Memory Stick Duo card).
Eventually the company might add support for Connect (which would require a firmware upgrade, since the W800 doesn’t currently support ATRAC3)...
