Thomson Acquires Inventel

InventelAccording to a press release sent out on Monday, Thomson (which many consider to be a world leader in DSL and video technologies - also a major stakeholder in ContentGuard along with Microsoft and Time Warner) has acquired Inventel, a leading provider of innovative voice and data solutions to telecom operators and internet service providers (ISP). This acquisition will bring synergies in terms of technology, products and services, customer base and geography and also strengthens Thomson's technology portfolio, design capabilities and products and services offering to telecom operators worldwide...
