UK's iTunes Store A Hit
ITFacts: Here's an interesting site with all kinds of mind boggling music industry statistics... "Between Jan. 1 and Apr. 16 of this year, 5,263,995 tracks were downloaded from UK online music stores - more than the number sold in the whole of 2004. 70-80% of the market belonged to the UK version of Apple iTunes Music Store." (But to be fair and put the total into proper perspective, the British iTunes store was only operational for 7 of the 12 months last year...)
