Europe Keeps Watchful Eye On U.S. Grokster Case
Reuters: Europeans are also keeping a watchful eye on U.S. cases, as policy takes shape over the new technology. "I have a sense that they're watching in Europe," said Andy Lack, CEO of Sony BMG. "Some 100,000 jobs are being lost each year in France alone because of piracy," Lack said on Thursday at the Reuters Telecoms, Media and Technology Summit in Paris. "That's an EU issue."
However, some observers say that structural differences between Europe and the U.S. could lessen the weight of the Supreme Court's decision overseas.

OK, that's what Vivendi Universal tries to sell to the French and EU regulators. No other available sources anyone?
Please turn to ratiatum.com or p2pnet.net for yet partial but at least serious information.
I'm based in Paris, and smiling at the job market size that such a figure implies.
