Volvo Partners With PhatNoise

Phatnoiseedmunds: I missed this announcement last week, but the new partnership delivers customized iPod Integration and PhatNoise's Award-Winning Digital Jukebox System to Volvo Cars. The iPod adapter (located in the center armrest compartment) allows Volvo drivers to control their iPods through their cars' steering wheel and dash mounted audio controls. The $150 adapter also recharges customers' iPods while they are plugged into the system...

Also available is The Digital Jukebox (sticker price of $898) which is a version of PhatNoise's PhatBox Digital Media Player... It's scaled down to fit into the existing stereo systems of Volvo vehicles and sports 20GB of storage  (roughly 500 CDs) and features voice feedback, PC software and a USB cradle - allowing the transfer of digital content from a computer to the car...Both items will be available as dealer installed options...
