But Will They Rock You?

Tonight's "American Idol" revolves around the music of Queen. Seems like an odd choice, no? We thought so, even though the band and its music are legendary.

But are they going to murder this stuff as so many seem to have done with theme selections from previous weeks? Perhaps not.

"I thought they had some depth and some soul and some rock and roll," Queen drummer Roger Taylor tells USA Today after helping the contestants rehearse in a California arena. Of course, he may have been being kind because also knows that quite a few people watch this little show, too, some of who might not know of the iconic band. "We're not blind to that," he said knowingly.

Here the list of songs the remaining eight finalists will attempt -- all while hoping not to raise the specter of an anguished Freddie Mercury:

Ace: "We Will Rock You"

Bucky: "Fat Bottomed Girls"

Chris: "Innuendo"

Elliott: "Somebody to Love"

Katharine: "Who Wants to Live Forever"

Kellie: "Bohemian Rhapsody"

Paris: "The Show Must Go On"

Taylor: "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"
