Hank Jr. Gets Rowdy

Hank Williams Jr. was the recipient of the Johnny Cash Visionary Award at the April 10 CMT Music Awards. Backstage, Williams said that on CMT, “everyone’s 24 years old and beautiful, but there’s still some dinosaurs around,” referring to himself, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton and a few others who continue to get airplay on the network.

Asked about his award, Williams said “anything with [the name] Johnny Cash attached to it has to be good.”
