A New Prescription
We ran into Ted Leo backstage before his set with the Pharmacists at the Coachella Festival in Indio, Calif., and requested an update on the band's next album, which will be its first in a new deal with Touch & Go.
"I'm not very far along," Ted admitted. "I've got a lot of music but not a lot of lyrics, so it's the kind of thing where I could finish it next month or at the end of the summer."
The goal, however, is to have the album ready for release before the end of the year, and the band is already playing four new songs live: "Sons of Cain," "La Costa Bravas," "Some Beginner's Mind" and "Army Bound."

Sons of Cain and La Costa Brava are great songs, on par with the stuff from Shake the Sheets. The other two...well, maybe they'll fit on a b-sides disc
