Jurado's Van Break-In

Sad folkie favorite Damien Jurado had a rough time in Toronto. While the show itself was reportedly awesome, a person with great moral and social standards broke into the tour van. The thief managed to make off with all the tour cash, merch money, laptops, iPods and clothes earlier this month. Their music gear went, thankfully, unscathed, as they were performing at the time.

"If you are on the fence about going to see Damien Jurado perform, please go.  If you are at the show and are on the fence about buying a CD, please do. Damien, Eric Fisher and Jenna Conrad need it," said a Jurado spokesperson. "Morale is a bit low."

Those rascally Canadians still got nothing on New Yorkers' affinity for stealing all of indie rock's gear.
