Janet Gives "Feedback"
So here’s Janet Jackson’s new video “Feedback,” and we’re not mad at it. Though "it’s the same thing she always does,” J.I. is excited to see Mrs. Dupri, er, Ms. Jackson (we're nasty) dancing again. Kinda like Britney trying to fool us with all that hair flipping in her "Piece of Me" video, Janet is a much better dancer than singer (read: folks like Ledisi or Chrisette Michele). Thrill us with your moves woman! Put these spotlight-biting chicks on the bench! Not that we’re mad at Ciara, Tyra B or anybody else, but you can’t leave us hanging. We remember albums like "Janet" and "Rhythm Nation" (and we have a faux military jacket with all those shiny brass buttons too). If for nothing else, at least for the (pleasure) principle.

Contrary to the article on billboard, I feel that this video marks new territory for Miss Jackson. This is the first time (in a while) we have seen her rely on visually stimulating graphics and special effects as opposed to flesh revealing sex appeal. This is unlike anything on blast currently and offers the viewers something new and refreshing. I applaud Miss Jackson for forgoing your typical video (bling, video vixens, cars, and guest appearances)and offering up something artistic and edgy. A wonderful addition to the work we have all come to appreciate and expect from an ICON.

this video is VISUALLY STUNNING!!! it is NOT what she has always done. this is what EVERYBODY does, but in this case, janet has upped the ante. giving us one of the most creative and interesting videos of her career. i loved that she was sexy without being raunchy. if i see one more video with half naked women "shakin it" like hookers, im gonna hurl!!! NICE JOB JANET!!!!

Janet's "Feedback" is totally unique. It is a visually stunning piece of work. Ms. Jackson...she looks fantastic...the dancing is first rate. The best music video in a very long time. No other artist can match Janet when it comes to video production/performance. CONGRATULATIONS, Janet!

I actually liked that there was minimal dancing in it because who wants to see the same video over and over. The group dancing in this video is not creative or innovative, but it is definately janet. I LOVE the solo dance and the end with the balls of light! Visually, this is the best video I have seen in years and I do think it raises the bar for other artists! I also agree with some of the previous posts. It's great to see her being beautiful and edgy without being overtly sexual.

I love that the video is not the same as EVERYONE else's out there. All the vidoes out are the same. "Booty shaking, hoes, pimps, clubbing, bling bling, crouch grabbing, half naked women. Same ole lyrics, my d--k bigger than yours, I make lotta money, all hoes love me, suck my D--K,
smoke weed. Come on, are you so blinded that you can't see art, creativity, imagination, metaphors. Guess its all about following the crowd, and degrading women ??

THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO OF THE YEAR. I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT, JANET BROUGHT IT BACK REALLY BIG THIS TIME AROUND. WHEN I LOOK AT THIS VIDEO MICHAEL JACKSON COMES TO MY MIND. JANET JACKSON IS THE FEMALE MICHAEL JACKSON. I LOVE THE VIDEO VERY DIFFERENT, JANET IS THE LEADER AND WATCH AND SEE HOW MANY WILL TRY TO FOLLOW THIS VIDEO. TOO MUCH DANCING WOULD HAVE TAKEN AWAY FROM THE CONCEPT. SHE WILL DO THE KILLER DANCING IN LIVE PERFORMANCES, BUT THIS WAS EXCELLENT NOT TOO MUCH AND NOT TOO LITLLE. I am very pleased with Janet's new video. I love the concept and I especially enjoy the dancing. Janet is also looking better than she has in a long time.

man!!! janet has done it again, its good to see she has a real record label backing her this time around, and supporting her unlike virgin's dumb asses, she was their highest paid act and they couldnt even treat her right, but man the song and video are insane, cant wait for feb. 26th

I, for one am glad that Janet didn't give me a dance piece from begining to end. The buildup to the dance sequence during the bridge and ending I thought were great. The video is a departure from what is shown on video channels nowadays and it's refreshing as well. This just proves yet again that Janet always thrives when it comes to performing her music like no other artist. The visual appeal that a perfomance lends to a track has always been par the course for Miss Jackson

This video is visually stunning and looks like something that Bjork may have cooked up. Yes, Janet doesn't have the pipes, per se, but we've always liked her for her catchy tunes and accompanying visuals (just watch videos from Rhythm Nation 1814 and Velvet Rope and you'll see what I mean). She does not falter with "Feedback". It's a return to form for Ms. Jackson. Kudos!

This video is extremely innovative and refreshing! Some people say that there is not enough dancing in the video, but damn, can Janet do anything new without negative talk. If she would have danced more in the video, then, people would complain that she is doing the same thing over and over. I am totally pleased with the video and the song, and I know she will be very successfull in 2008. One word that Janet is use to being associated with "Groundbreaking".

Janet is unlike any other artist. She always tries to do something diffrent than before. Which she has done ever since control. The dancing is so technical and her pipes have improved over the years.
Make room for the "Queen". Janet is back.

I truly hope that MTV and VH1 can put the superbowl incident in the past and play this video. Because has come full circle and this video is on a different level from others. It is truly refreshing and innovative.
