Idol Worship: Jasmine and Jorge's take on 'the twist'

Jasmine_murray Woah, it took us a whole weekend to recover from Wednesday's double elimination and judges' save shocker. Well, more so due to the latter, since Jasmine and Jorge really weren't much of a surprise. But a do-over? Or veto power, or whatever you want to call it, the ramifications of that trump card are huge. If Idol could rewrite its own history, would Chris Daughtry be a victor? Would Taylor Hicks have ended up a season 5 footnote? Even Idol stage manager Debbie Williams said during an LA Times chat on Friday that Clay Aiken should have won season two. "That was an odd year," she wrote, "I love Ruben, but I think it should've been Clay." And how about Jennifer Hudson? The possibilities boggle the mind.

What do this season's crop of contestants think of the new rule? Jorge Nunez is all for it, even if the judges didn't exercise it on his behalf. "I think it’s a really good thing because there have been people that didn’t win and they’ve done great and you always think they should have gone further," he said the morning after his own elimination. "I bet it’s going to help the competition and who gets the prize in the end."

The graceful Jasmine Murray had this to offer: "You always have to have hope... and faith and believe that it could happen and that there was a possible chance. They could have said yes, but they didn’t and it’s okay. I understand. They know what they want for the competition."

So who'll be the lucky (and eternally grateful) recipient of the save this season? We're putting our money on Matt Giraud, who's not afraid of a risky song choice or two — probably to his detriment. Or could it be Adam Lambert on a bad night? Any predictions, Idol worshippers?

The blonde girl with the arm tattoo (I can never remember her name). Simon and the gang seem willing to do whatever it takes to keep her in.

As I browsed through a tones of sites, I feel I should even internet market my site. I’m basically a computer graphics person, but I sometimes feel that it will be time consuming, but what’s also the harm in doing it.
